Origins
Welcome to the TLB, or more technically known as “Trickum Legis Blog.” If you are not familiar with this phrase it is defined as a quirk or quibble in the law in the 1811 Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue originally by Francis Grose. I thought it was an interesting and appropriate name for my blog as I will be writing about the quirks in the law that humor me on a daily basis as I attempt to graduate from law school. Also, due to nature of being a law school student, you come across alot of random websites, videos, quotes, and sayings that I would like to attempt to collect for future generations of law students so they may also productively waste their time.

I am a lawyer and was able to read one of your posts which my law student daughter shared on her fb account. I enjoyed it. With not that much to do except for some pleadings to respond to, I browsed through your blog, and it made me travel back during my law student days-I am a lawyer from the Philippines yet we share the same sub-culture.
