The Wizard’s wisdom: ‘Woodenisms’

As a devout fan of the game of basketball, the basketball community lost a legend this past week. John Wooden, passed away over the weekend at the age of 99, was an iconic basketball coach at UCLA and perhaps one of the most influential people on how the game of basketball should be taught and played. I only got to meet him once a few years ago, but it was truly a blessing and I will forever apply his teachings towards life, law school, and beyond. If you are unfamiliar with his sayings, check them out HERE. Below is one of my favorites.

“Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.” — John Wooden
